Here's a rundown of some of the biggest 7v7 tournaments happening in 2023.

First up, Battle 7v7 is back and better than ever. This invitation-only competition will feature the best teams in the nation, all competing at the highest level of competition. The events will take place in four states, with five events in total, so mark your calendars and get ready to see some of the best talents in the game. Photo courtesy Battle7.com.

WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: Battle7v7 focuses on quality vs quantity and brings together the most competitive teams in one event. If your team wins a Batle7v7 event you're most likely one of the top teams in the nation. 

Next, the Pylon 7v7 Football National Championship Series is returning with 24 events in 14 states. Pylon has a history of featuring Division I athletes and NFL players, so you can expect to see some of the best talents in the nation. With over 3,200 Division I athletes and 300+ NFL players having competed in the series, it's no wonder it's considered one of the most prestigious 7v7 events in the country. WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: Pylon7v7 is truly the pioneer of 7v7 football and they were the first to bring the top teams, swag, football personalities, and superstar athletes together at one event. Pylon7v7 set the standard for 7v7 football events and that can't be overlooked. 

Shock Doctor's Legends Showcase is also back for 2023, and it's set to be one of the premier national 7v7 football series for high school and youth athletes. Competing in five tournaments in five states, focusing on premium national venues, elite exposure, live entertainment, and surprises, and the top competition in the game, this event is not to be missed. WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: ShockDoctor is another event that focuses on quality over quantity. They bring together unique sponsors and offer a cash prize to the winning team.

The C1N Tournament Series will be owned and operated by CamNewton7v7 led by NFL MVP, Cam Newton. C1N is known for hosting an annual memorial day weekend tournament and now they're scaling to more events in different cities

WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: Who wouldn't want to play at an event hosted by Cam Newton? This event features fierce competition, media coverage, swag, celebrities, and bragging rights all wrapped in one.

WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: RedZoneElite is a great mix of high-profile national teams, regional juggernauts, and local underdog teams that make for some exciting matchups.

Passing Down Elite 7on7 is another one to check out, with 5 events taking place in 2 states. The group is recognized as the first-ever California statewide elite 7on7 tournament covered nationally by ESPN, Scout, Rivals, XOS Digital, 247Sports, and other media outlets. WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: A great option if you're from California and want to make a name for yourself as one of the best teams in California before you hit the national circuit. 

 The 7on7 Association is excited to announce their return for the 2023 season with 10 events taking place in 4 states. For the past 3 years, they have been providing a platform for over 70 teams in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Canada to come together and compete at the highest level of 7on7 football. This year they are partnering with the Huffman family, in honor of Avery Huffman. The 7on7 Tour will be named after her and proceeds from all tournament locations will go towards the Avery Huffman Defeat DIPG Foundation. WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: The west coast has plenty of talent and at 7on7 Association events, your team has the opportunity to stamp themselves as the King of the West. 

DR Sportz is an event that provides national media exposure to each athlete & organization through professional and organized sporting events in a safe, fun, and family-oriented environment. In addition to creating fun and friendly events, DR Sportz has the heart to serve the community by providing in-depth knowledge and education about financial literacy programs and many other opportunities. WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: DRSportz is entering its 2nd year on the circuit but they're not new to hosting 7on7 events. Their media coverage before and during events with their Livestream of championship matchups makes it a unique event to be a part of. 

Endzone 7on7 is a tournament circuit with a focus on providing opportunities for high-potential student-athletes to improve their respective position skills through competitive non-contact football tournament play, this event is a great opportunity for young players to showcase their skills. WHY THEY MAKE THE LIST: More than just a 7on7 event, Endzone7v7 is more of a recruitment-style event that gives athletes the exposure they're looking for at one of the premier facilities in The Woodlands, TX.

New 7v7 Events On Our Radar

OT7 - Website
In 2022, OT7 owned by media company Overtime put together one of the best single-weekend events in 7v7 history. They have not announced their full plans for 2023 but whatever they decide we know it'll be big.

SUPR7v7 - Website
This series is planning its inaugural season for 2023 with an invite-only status for teams. They are promoting that all games will be live-streamed and rosters will be shared with college coaches.

GainSeperation7v7 - Website
This series will feature camps for QB, WR, and TE positions and 10 7on7 events. This event already has some unique partners like a sports data company and Nike
